This article will help guide you on how to add standards or expectations to individual lesson plans.
Note: In order to add standards to your lessons, you will have to assign a standard set to your subject. Click here if you haven't yet done this.
In Planboard, select the lesson you are working on and click the Add Standards button at the bottom of the lesson plan.
Click to expand the appropriate standard set from the window that appears.
This will show you a list of standard codes you would like to attach to the lesson. You can search by code or key word using the built-in search bar (see below). Click the “Add” button next to the standard that you would like to assign to this lesson.
Once you select the standards, the Add button will change to Added and you will see the list of selected standard codes at the side of the window.
Note: From here you can also remove standards that have already been assigned or that you added by mistake.
Click the Save button. Your attached standards will now show up here at the bottom of the lesson plan.
Did you attach multiple files or standards to your lesson plan? Sometimes the addition of attachments can obscure the view of a lesson plan, which is why we have the feature to minimize attachments using the Hide Details or Show Details button. Show Details can be used to see everything you have attached, whereas Hide Details can be used to give you a better view of your lesson plan while keeping your attachments intact.
To Hide Attachments:
By default, all attachments will be shown at the bottom of your lesson plan. Simply click the Hide Details button in the bottom right corner of your lesson plan to minimize them.
To Show Attachments:
Simply click the Show Details button in the bottom right corner of your lesson plan to show all of your attachments.
