Adding a description to a field can provide guidance to Curriculum Writers as they work on a map, helping them understand the purpose of each field.This article is an overview of how to add a description to a field in a published Curriculum Map template.
Note: If you want to add a description to a field in a template that is not yet published, then click here to learn more.
In Curriculum, click the Templates option from the left sidebar.
Select the template for which you would like to add a description in the fields.
Click Create Draft in the template header.
Once you have located the field in which you want to add in a description, click the Add button in the Field Description section.
Add a description for that field.
Note: This description will be displayed in a Curriculum Map ONLY, and not within the Planboard unit content.
Click the Publish button once you are ready.
Note: Publishing a Curriculum Map Template will not update existing Curriculum Maps. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to update existing Curriculum Maps with the updated template you published.
